English: The 1926–1996 w:Government-General of Chōsen Building — in Korea.

The building was built on the partially-demolished former royal palace Gyeongbokgung and used by the Japanese colonial government from 1926 to 1945.
Was used briefly by the United States Army Military Government in Korea.
Persisted until 1995, when it was agreed to be a symbol of the colonial era and demolished amidst a restoration project for Gyeongbokgung.
